Only schools CAAHEP or ABHES accredits show "Request information," which forwards your request to that school; we may get paid for this. The remaining rows point you to the website owned by the school. No school pays to get listed or to move higher in the list. Sources: IPEDS 2023-24 (prices and graduates) plus the CAAHEP and ABHES directories.

This list covers accreditation, prices and graduates; here is how to read it.
CAAHEP-accredited program
CAAHEP reviewed and approved the medical assisting program itself. Graduates can take the CMA exam and become a Certified Medical Assistant.
ABHES-accredited school
ABHES gives approval to the entire school. Ask the school if its medical assisting program is covered too before you count on the CMA exam.
Not CAAHEP or ABHES
The school is not listed by either group for medical assisting, yet that is not a verdict on it. Another agency may still accredit the college itself. You need a CAAHEP or ABHES program for the CMA exam, while the RMA, CCMA and NCMA exams also allow other paths like work experience.
Price
For 2023-24, schools report tuition and fees plus books and supplies if listed: costs cover the whole program or one year of full-time classes (local student rates at public colleges). Each award the school lists shares the same yearly price.
Graduates
These students finished their studies between July 2023 and June 2024. IPEDS, a yearly U.S. Department of Education survey, provides the prices and graduates data.
