North Dakota medical assistant schools

Not one school pays to get listed or ranked higher. We use IPEDS 2023-24 for prices and graduates, plus directories from CAAHEP and ABHES.

How to read the list: accreditation, prices and graduate counts
CAAHEP-accredited program
The medical assisting program itself has been checked and approved by CAAHEP. After you finish, you can take the CMA exam and become a Certified Medical Assistant.
ABHES-accredited school
ABHES gives approval to the entire school. Ask the school if its medical assisting program is covered too before you rely on the CMA exam.
Not CAAHEP or ABHES
Neither organization lists the school for medical assisting, but this does not judge the school. Another agency might still accredit the college itself. A CAAHEP or ABHES program is needed for the CMA exam, while the RMA, CCMA and NCMA exams also allow routes such as work experience.
Classes held online
You do coursework online, but clinical hours always happen in person at a clinic or school.
Price
Tuition and fees for 2023-24 come as schools report them, adding books and supplies when listed: prices are for the whole program or one year of full-time classes (rate for local students at public colleges). Each award the school lists shares the same yearly price.
Graduates
These are students who completed their studies between July 2023 and June 2024. IPEDS, an annual U.S. Department of Education survey, provides the price and graduate data.
