Vermont medical assistant schools

Not one school pays to get listed or ranked higher. We use IPEDS 2023-24 for costs and graduates, plus directories from CAAHEP and ABHES.

Accreditation, prices and graduates: how to read this list
CAAHEP-accredited program
CAAHEP checked and approved the specific medical assisting program. You can take the CMA exam after finishing to become a Certified Medical Assistant.
ABHES-accredited school
ABHES gives approval to the entire school. Ask the school if its medical assisting program is covered too before relying on the CMA exam.
Not CAAHEP or ABHES
The school appears on neither list for medical assisting; that does not judge the school. Another agency might still accredit the college itself. The CMA exam requires a CAAHEP or ABHES program; other routes like work experience are also accepted by the RMA, CCMA and NCMA exams.
Price
For 2023-24, each school reports its own tuition and fees, plus books and supplies when it lists them. The figure covers the whole program, or a year of full-time classes (the rate local students pay at public colleges). The yearly price stays the same for every award the school lists.
Graduates
These students finished between July 2023 and June 2024. IPEDS, a yearly U.S. Department of Education survey, provides the graduate and price data.
