Schools for medical assistants in Delaware

Only schools with CAAHEP or ABHES accreditation show "Request information", which forwards your request to them; we may receive payment for this. Other rows send you to the school's own site. No school pays us to appear here or to move higher. We used IPEDS 2023-24 data on prices and graduates, along with the CAAHEP and ABHES directories.

What do the accreditation, cost and graduate details mean?
CAAHEP-accredited program
The medical assisting program itself has been checked and approved by CAAHEP. You can take the CMA exam after finishing it to become a Certified Medical Assistant.
ABHES-accredited school
ABHES gives approval to the entire school. Before relying on the CMA exam, ask the school if its medical assisting program is covered as well.
Not CAAHEP or ABHES
Neither group includes the school for medical assisting; this does not judge the school. Another agency might still accredit the college itself. You need a CAAHEP or ABHES program for the CMA exam; the RMA, CCMA and NCMA exams also take other paths like work experience.
Price
Schools report tuition and fees for 2023-24, adding books and supplies only when they list them. A figure covers the whole program or one year of full-time classes; at public colleges, that yearly rate is for local students. Each award the school lists shares the same yearly price.
Graduates
These are students who completed their program between July 2023 and June 2024. The U.S. Department of Education runs the yearly IPEDS survey that provides these prices and graduate counts.
