The "Request information" option appears only for schools accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES. It sends your request to the school, and we may be paid for it. The other rows take you to each school's own website. No school pays for a listing or a higher position. Sources: IPEDS 2023-24 for prices and graduates, with the directories at CAAHEP and ABHES.

Accreditation, prices and graduates: how to read the list
CAAHEP-accredited program
The medical assisting program itself has been checked and approved by CAAHEP. After you finish, you can take the CMA exam and become a Certified Medical Assistant.
ABHES-accredited school
ABHES accredits the school as a whole. Before you rely on the CMA exam, check with the school to see whether its medical assisting program is covered as well.
Not CAAHEP or ABHES
Neither of the groups lists it for medical assisting. That isn't a verdict on the school. Another agency may still accredit the college. For the CMA exam, you need a program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES. Other routes, including work experience, are accepted for RMA, CCMA and NCMA exams.
Price
Schools report 2023-24 tuition and fees for the whole program or one year of full-time classes. Books and supplies are included when each school lists them. For public colleges, the one-year rate applies to local students. Each award listed by the school has the same yearly price.
Graduates
These are students who finished from July 2023 through June 2024. IPEDS provides the prices and graduate numbers. It's a yearly survey from the U.S. Department of Education.
