You see "Request information" only for schools accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES; it passes your request along to that school, and we may get paid. The remaining rows point to each school's own website. No school pays for inclusion or for moving up the list. Sources: IPEDS 2023-24 for prices and graduates, plus the CAAHEP and ABHES directories.

Understanding the accreditation, price and graduate details listed here
CAAHEP-accredited program
CAAHEP has reviewed and approved the medical assisting program itself. After you finish the program, you can take the CMA exam and become a Certified Medical Assistant.
ABHES-accredited school
ABHES approves the entire school. Before relying on the CMA exam, ask the school if its medical assisting program is also covered.
Not CAAHEP or ABHES
For medical assisting, neither group lists the school, and that isn't a judgment about the school. Another agency may still accredit the college. You need a CAAHEP or ABHES program for the CMA exam; the RMA, CCMA and NCMA exams accept other paths too, including work experience.
Price
Each school reports its 2023-24 tuition and fees, including books and supplies when it lists them. The figures cover either the whole program or one year of full-time study (the local student rate at public colleges). Each award listed by a school has the same yearly price.
Graduates
The figures cover students who finished from July 2023 through June 2024. IPEDS is the yearly survey from the U.S. Education Department. It provides prices and graduate counts.
